Description
Job Purpose: To provide teaching to students in small groups in a variety of subjects.
You will need: a teaching qualification; the ability to learn different curriculums, and adapt your teaching to the needs of the students in your group.
We adopt a holistic approach here at Wise Owl Tutors, which is part of the WLZ Group. As such you should have an understanding of the Thrive approach, or willingness to learn more about this.
Location Face-to-face in our Kidderminster Location (DY10)
Hours and work schedule: up to 40 Hours Per Week, lessons usually commence at 10am
Term time only- we can also consider part time working, please state your availability in your application.

Responsibilites
- Provide small group tutoring sessions to students in various subjects, focusing on their individual learning needs
- Create engaging lesson plans and educational materials tailored to student's academic goals, with the support of the team, and our own resource hub
- Utilise effective communication skills to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner
- Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility
- Track student progress and provide feedback on a regular basis
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support student development and success
- Maintain student lesson notes and use our VLE to provide teaching resources for each lesson Requirements
